No Returns / No Exchanges Policy
Thank you for shopping with Habitual Dyer. Please note that due to the unique, handmade nature of my custom tie-dye products, all sales are final. I do not accept returns or exchanges.
Please see the size charts posted in the menu. If you don't see a size chart posted, measurements will be provided in the product description. The size charts I use are created from the product specs provided by the manufacturer. Therefore, actual size may vary slightly because the fabric is mostly/entirely cotton and is washed twice in hot water before you receive it; however, it will not shrink any further upon receipt since any shrinkage occurs during processing.
If you are ever unsure about sizing, please reach out to me. I will be more than happy to try something on or pull out a tape measure if it helps! I also recommend sizing up if you want a loose/oversized fit—especially for crewnecks, hoodies, and sweatshirts if concerned about length and layering.
Why I Have This Policy
Each tie-dye item is made to order and individually crafted, resulting in one-of-a-kind designs that may vary slightly in color and pattern from the images on my website. This variation is part of the artistic process and adds to the charm of my products. Therefore, I cannot accept returns or exchanges based on the final appearance.
Exceptions
If I agree to an exchange, you are responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to me as well as the cost to have the new item shipped to you. The item being returned must be mailed back within a week of receipt and must be received in its original condition. Please provide a tracking number as proof of mailing.
If I agree to store credit, you will receive store credit minus a restocking fee (equivalent to the fees deducted by the payment processor) as long as the item is returned in its original condition. Store credit is issued in the form of a coupon code that can be used at checkout.
Returns/exchanges are only issued in rare circumstances where a mistake was made on my behalf.
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, please contact me within 7 days of receiving your order, and I will do my best to resolve the issue. You may be asked to provide photos of the damage.
Chargebacks & Fees
If a chargeback is filed with your bank or card issuer and is later found to be made in error or fraudulently, you will be responsible for the associated $15 non-refundable dispute fee that I am charged by my payment processor.
This fee must be repaid before any future purchases can be processed. An invoice will be sent directly to you, and payment must be completed in full. Customers who refuse to settle chargeback fees will be blocked from placing future orders.
